We are delighted to support a new initiative, the Young Women’s Composers Camp (YWCC), which began July 9th . The young women composers’ camp aims to amplify the voices of young women, to allow them access to a high level of musical training, and to close the gender gap in the music composition field and create a more equitable music sector. They strive to be accessible and inclusive to anyone who identifies as female or non-binary. This project seeks to help young people with an interest in music composition with classes, talks and meetings with outstanding guest composers and musicians.
