Hollywood Calling: An Insider's Guide to Film Scoring
April 17-18, 2010 McNally Smith College of Music Saint Paul, MN
Registration Deadline: March 31, 2010

ACF is partnering with McNally Smith College of Music to offer an intensive two-day workshop on the process of film scoring. The sessions will be led by noted Hollywood composers Sean McMahon and Christopher Young.

The response to our initial workshop announcement was very strong and the limited number of spots in the Tier One registration category filled-up quickly. As a result:
  • We are no longer accepting Tier One registrations
  • We have added a new registration option for composers who still want to participate.
Composers now have the option of registering at either of two levels:
  • A rate that allows composers to audit both day's sessions, but does not include the IFP reception or the follow-up critique to Sean McMahon.
  • A rate that allows composers to audit the first day's workshop sessions.
Complete information about the workshop including faculty bios and registration form can be found here.
