Denise Flynn Buczko

Denise Flynn Buczko joined ACF Philadelphia as its first Executive
Director in April 2009. As Executive Director, Buczko leads the
organization’s administration and development efforts. Buczko has
extensive experience in development, event management and
communications for arts and culture organizations. In addition to
her work at ACF Philadelphia, she is also the Development Officer
for Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation’s Pennsylvania Performing Arts on
Tour (PennPAT) program, a program that supports Pennsylvania
performing artists for touring. Prior to joining PennPAT, Buczko
was Director of Development for Please Touch Museum, the children’s
museum of Philadelphia, where she directed fundraising efforts to
support general operations, community programs and special events
at the museum. During her eight-year tenure with Please Touch,
Buczko also served as Special Events Manager, External Affairs
Manager, and Development Coordinator. Buczko holds a bachelor’s
degree in English and a minor in communications from Rutgers
University. She is on the boards of Philadelphia’s Young Nonprofit
Leaders and Friends of Please Touch Museum.
James Falconi

James Falconi is the primary contact for member questions related
to ACF Philadelphia’s programs, grant proposals, and New Music
Philadelphia. James holds a BM degree from West Chester University,
where he studied with Robert Maggio, Larry Nelson, and Mark Rimple,
and a Master's degree from Temple University's Boyer College of
Music and Dance. He is currently enrolled in the DMA program in
Composition at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and
Dance.
