Composers and Choreographers: Zooming In On Collaboration: February 26 at Ruba Club
Come zoom in on the composer-choreographer collaborative process as Dance/UP and American Composers Forum host this fun, social, networking event, Zooming in on Collaboration! Our interest is in connecting artists, fostering new collaborative relationships, and discussing issues surrounding collaboration. Participants will circulate amongst tables where guest facilitators will share tips, troubleshoot problems and guide discussion. As always, great food and drinks provided!
If you spark a new collaboration, you may be eligible for the grant programs Community Partners (deadline April 5) or Subito (deadline April 19). Prior to the event, artists are encouraged to join the Philadelphia Choreographer / Composer Network. This network serves as a place for choreographers and composers to mingle and share work samples, with the goal of finding collaborators. Start browsing now! (www.choreographer-composer.ning.com)
